When and how you receive your earnings.
How earnings are calculated
You receive 85% of the total job value. HomeSorted's 15% commission covers platform costs, payment processing, dispute resolution, and marketing to bring you more clients.
Tip: A R1,200 job means R1,020 in your pocket. Do 4 jobs a week and that's R16,320/month.
The payment timeline
After you mark a job as complete, the client has 24 hours to review the work. If no dispute is raised, payment is automatically released to your bank account. The transfer typically takes 1-2 business days after release.
Bank account setup
Make sure your bank details are correct in your profile. HomeSorted uses your bank confirmation letter (submitted during verification) to process payouts. If your details change, update them in your profile.
Tracking your earnings
Your provider dashboard has a full earnings tracker showing: pending payments, completed payouts, total earnings, and a breakdown per job. You can also view payout history.
What if there's a dispute?
If a client raises a dispute, payment is held until our admin team resolves it. You'll be asked to provide your side of the story and any evidence (photos, messages). Most disputes are resolved within 2-5 business days.
